Digital fashion meets waffles – an evening with IT Waffle Meetup

On March 28, 2025, I had the pleasure of participating in the IT Waffle Meetup event in Liepāja as one of the speakers, representing MG Digital Fashion Studio. It was a fantastic Friday evening where technology and innovation enthusiasts gathered to share experiences, gain inspiration, and enjoy some waffles. In my talk, I introduced the IT Waffle Meetup audience to the world of digital fashion and its intersection with the IT field – from 3D garment modeling to its applications in the metaverse and gaming industry. It was a joy to see that even IT professionals are captivated by this rapidly growing field, raising new and practical questions about its possibilities. This evening once again confirmed how valuable it is to build bridges between the creative and tech industries – right here in Liepāja.
